Electrodeless Conductivity
|
Two different options of the HET63 transmitter will be available with the base model offering a single 4-20mA output. The Advanced HET63 offers two 4-20mA outputs enabling the process temperature to also be measured and transmitted as well as either the conductivity or solution concentration value. The Advanced HET63 model will have 2 relay outputs for process control and also has 3 digital inputs for remote range changing via a PLC. The HET63 is available as head mounted as well as being available as a wall-mounting version. Measured value displayed either in conductivity in mS/cm or mS/cm or % concentration as well as process temperature in °C or °F.

The MED53 can be configured to display the readings in conductivity, or % concentration. Preset curves are stored in the instrument for common acids, alkalis or salinity and there is also the facility to programme a custom curve into the instrument. It can be set for single range, auto range or remote ranging via an external switch, allowing automatic selection between different chemicals. A universal power supply allows a single connection to any supply 80-264V AC/DC or 18-36V AC/DC. Adjustable temperature compensator selection of Pt100 or Pt1000 allows the instrument to be used with any LTH Electrodeless conductivity sensor. Up to 3 relays and two 4 - 20mA outputs.

The ECS20 Series of Electrodeless conductivity sensors have been developed and engineered to produce a very low cost sensor, without sacrificing performance or quality. This has been achieved by injection moulding the sensor in glass loaded polypropylene. The sensor provides all of the benefits that the method of Electrodeless conductivity measurement provides. It is extremely tolerant of coating on the sensor, probably the greatest problem with conventional conductivity measurement. The ECS20T incorporates temperature compensation and can be mounted inline, in a tank wall or large bore pipe or in an open tank using a range of adapters.

The ECS40 series can be mounted inline, in a tank wall, large bore pipe or in an open tank using a variety of fittings. The option of several different hygienic flanges cater for the majority of applications. The sensor is manufactured in PEEK™ a food grade material with excellent chemical resistance and high temperature performance. The construction of the sensor allows it to operate at 100°C continuously, withstand thermal shocks and can be steam sterilised up to 135°C. The sensors are fitted with Pt1000 temperature sensors. The temperature sensor is mounted in direct contact with the medium via a stainless steel jacket, an alternative PEEK™ jacket is available where stainless steel might be unacceptable.
